I think I'm right in saying that most people's favourite is the the return of the king mainly because it's the ending

well anyway back to epsis post on the topic, totally agree that the grey havens are one of the greatest settings of all lotr films, even though many people fall asleep when they watch all films at once and come to this never ending 30 min saying "Good bye" to Frodo and so on Btw: Seriously stop that massive spam, we want to build up a friendly new clan and do not want to confuse new members in future with dozens of almost useless "Indeeds", sry for being so angry about this, but I lose myself in these endless posts without any reference to the topic

There's nothing wrong with a going a little off-topic. You are right though, and epsi needs to stop the spam immediately!!!! Me myself, I was a bit confused about the ending, can someone tell me why Frodo left?

the overall reason is that frodo including elrond and bilbo was as well a ringbearer but when the 4th era begins the ring era finished and the rings of power are gone, but the damage they dealt to their owners is still part of these persons ---> all of this forces frodo and some of his fellows to leave Middle Earth Another reason is the wound Frodo received during the fight on the Weathertop, this wound can be only healed over time by a special medicine of Elrond, so if Frodo wants to survive and doesn't want to suffer he has to follow Elrond and the elven ships
